Our affiliations within the Baptist family say a lot about who we are. We are associated with the following organizations:

District of Columbia Baptist Convention (DCBC)
Organized in 1877, the District of Columbia Baptist Convention (DCBC) consists of more than 150 churches in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia working to have a bold, Christ-centered and spiritually transformational impact on the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Our churches vary in size, worship styles and ministry activities but each one is committed to building God’s kingdom in our community, nation and world.
DCBC is committed to strengthening our member churches to advance God’s kingdom. We strive to support our member churches by providing ministry resources and opportunities for networking, fellowship, corporate worship and training, as well as by undergirding their programs and activities. In addition, the Convention seeks to inspire courageous, missional engagement amongst member congregations, organizations, entities, groups and individuals committed to our values and the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).
The Association of Welcoming & Affirming Baptists (AWAB)
The mission of the Association of Welcoming & Affirming Baptists is to create and support a community of churches, organizations and individuals committed to the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in the full life and mission of Baptist churches.
 
As the only organization devoted to building the Welcoming and Affirming movement within the Baptist traditions, AWAB has a unique call to be The National Voice for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied Baptists in the US, and to support the work of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists around the world.
 
The Alliance of Baptists began in 1987 as a prophetic voice in Baptist life. Today, we are a faith community comprised of male and female laity and clergy, people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, theological beliefs, and ministry practices.
 
We are Christians knit together by love for one another and God, combining progressive inquiry, contemplative prayer and prophetic action to bring about justice and healing in a changing world. We are women and men, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grandparents, children, students, teachers, lawyers, professors, artists, doctors, musicians, community organizers, unemployed, retired, volunteers — married, divorced, single, committed and somewhere in between
American Baptists are a Christ-centered, biblically grounded, ethnically diverse people called to radical personal discipleship in Christ Jesus. Our commitment to Jesus propels us to nurture authentic relationships with one another; build healthy churches; transform our communities, our nations and our world; engage every member in hands-on ministry; and speak the prophetic word in love.
 
As a people of prayer, purpose, and passion, we are in the forefront of creating a community of faith where people of every race, nationality and culture gather as one in worship, service and work.
NorthStar Church Network is a diverse family of autonomous congregations committed to practicing Baptist distinctives and living out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We are a network of about 170 congregations representing a wide diversity of ethnic, language and cultural groups. Our congregations are diverse in background, worship style, music preference, and ministry emphasis.
 
Member Congregations are located in the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William and the Cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax, Virginia.
